Our area is a paradise for hikers. In our municipality alone we have around 60 nature reserves and a national park for which I am also an official guide. Some nature reserves are very well developed with paths, windshelters and signs. In other nature reserves, however, there are no hiking trails or information signs at all. But I know these well too! We have summit tours with beautiful views, there is a gorge with various caves to explore, hikes along remote wild rivers, hikes through forests with pine trees that are up to 700 years old, hikes to remote log cabins, hikes to traces of settlement that are up to 2000 years old, old paths that used to lead to summer pastures, and old paths that were used by church visitors or by the people who drove the timber. Last but not least, there are also hikes to old cult and sacrificial sites that go back to the native Sami population with petroglyphs and a rose quartz site. - To the fire tower in the Stor Almselberget Nature Reserve
- To the waterfall in the gorge of the Stockholmsgata Nature Reserve
