Snowshoes are the perfect way to explore our area! We have almost 60 nature reserves and a national park in our area. So there are plenty of destinations! A snowshoe tour to the so-called Offerhällan is very popular, for example. This is the highest vertical cliff in the entire county. The view from there is phenomenal! And don’t worry, we hike there from the back side of the mountain, which is very flat. Anyone can easily reach the destination with normal fitness. At the top of the highest point there is a wind shelter with a fireplace where I’ll happily make a good cup of tea for you by the crackling fire. Of course, many other great destinations are also easily accessible with snowshoes. There are 2 fairly new log cabins in the national park where you can stay overnight. Or a very remote log cabin near us where we are guaranteed to be alone. When just visiting for a tea break, or even when staying overnight.
